The issue focuses once again on women’s health issues and specifically on gynaecological cancers.  Gynaecological cancer kills 140 women a week in the UK.

Sunday 27th September, 2009. Fabulous, along with their celebrity high heels edition of their magazine launched an exciting eBay auction in aid of WoW.

Inspired by reading about the charity in Fabulous magazine, Londoner Ally Steel took to the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square.  Dressed in an all-purple costume as our new superhero 'WoW-Woman' she started her stint on the plinth at 7am on Wednesday 29th July 2009.  During her hour on the plinth she released 160 balloons each attached to a postcard containing a health fact.  She also distributed purple Quality Street chocolates.
