Throughout the year Wellbeing of Women holds many events to raise funds for the charity. We are also often lucky enough to be the benefiting charity from other events. Literary Lunches at Fortnum & Mason
Since our very first lunch in 2008, in Partnership with Anne Jenkins we have held several very successful literary lunches at the beautiful Burlington Room in Fortnum & Mason. Eve Pollard hosts the lunch and presents the guest author, which have so far included Ffion Hague, Sandra Howard, Rachel Johnson, with William Shawcross in April and later in the year international, best-selling crime writer P.D. James.
Exclusive Shopping Evenings at LK Bennett
We have now hosted several LK Bennett Shopping evenings at their beautiful store in Covent Garden. You are greeted with a glass of bubbly provided by the store, which helps everyone get in the mood for shopping and with lots of helpful styling advice on hand. Our guests get a substantial discount on their purchases and the charity gets a percentage as a donation at the end of the night.
Chelsea Flower Show Evening
Once again we were very lucky to be offered the opportunity to host a reception at one of the show gardens at the Chelsea Flower Show. This year our hosts were the Telegraph Media Group and their Daily Telegraph garden won 'Best in Show'.
