Wellcome Trust
Wellbeing of Women runs Annual Research Training Fellowship Grants to support Research Training Fellowships within the endangered specialities of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Due to budgetary restraints, we are not always able to fund all of the candidates that meets our high standards. The Wellcome Trust has agreed to collaborate with Wellbeing to assist in the process of capacity building.
SANDS
During 2010 we were delighted to enter a partnership with Sands (The Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society, reg.charity 299679) to collaborate over the selection and administration of their research fund. In conjunction with the Trustees of Sands, two research awards were made, totalling £110,865

AMRC (Association of Medical Research Charities)
The Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) is a membership organisation of the leading medical and health research charities in the UK. They work with their member charities and partners, aiming to support the sector’s effectiveness and advance medical research by developing best practice, providing information and guidance, improving public dialogue about research and science, and influencing government.
Formally established in 1987, AMRC now has 126 member charities that contributed over £1 billion in 2010-11 to medical research.
In 2011 we have been awarded 'Best Practice' by the AMRC.
