Volunteer with the Research Team

We are actively looking for an Archiving Volunteer.

This is an office-based only role to support our Research Team.

We are looking for a commitment of a minimum of 4h/week, or a full day on a Friday.

You will be:

  • Working through WoW legacy research files and scanning and archiving on to Sharepoint
  • Pulling out key information from these past projects, in order to categorise them into key areas across women’s health
  • Where appropriate, following up through internet searching to see where WoW funded researchers are now
  • Highlighting exciting and impactful past research to the WoW research team
  • This exercise is extremely important for the charity to be able to look at and start to assess the impact of our past funded research projects

We are hoping to find an amazing volunteer for this role, apply now if this suits you.

Make a difference today.

Volunteer with the Fundraising Team

We are looking for a volunteer(s) who can support our head office team with all things fundraising! The role is flexible, you’d be able to work remotely but also have access to our London Bridge office if you choose to.

You could be:

  • Supporting the team with challenge events
  • Supporting with data management
  • Coming up with new ideas for fundraising initiatives

Volunteer with the Admin Team

We are looking for a volunteer(s) to primarily support our office manager but in this role you’d also help the wider team with administrative activities.

You could be:

  • Supporting with database tasks
  • Desk-based research
  • Digital filing

If you don’t feel like you have experience but would still be interested in volunteering with us, please get in touch! We are happy to provide training for the roles we offer and welcome people who would like to gain work experience within the charity sector.

Please note that we look for volunteers who can make a meaningful time commitment on a regular basis as we’re a small team with limited capacity to take on and provide training to new people. For example, if you can volunteer full-time for three weeks, or half a day a week but for two months or more, we can ensure your time makes a significant contribution to our work.
