"Just a Period" donate

Emma started having extremely painful periods as a teenager, but didn’t receive a diagnosis of endometriosis until 8 years later.

By this point she had been robbed of her fertility and experienced life-long damage to her organs. After 9 failed rounds of IVF failed, she has sadly given up trying to have a child.

Emma is not alone in her experience. Too many women and girls spend years suffering unnecessarily and having their lives devastated, because their symptoms are normalised and dismissed as "just a period".

Nobody should suffer from period symptoms holding them back.

Our “Just a Period” campaign is educating and empowering girls and women to be in control of their menstrual health from their first period to their last. And we need your support to continue this life-changing work.

Together, we can ensure that no one is held back by their menstrual health.

Things might have been different for Emma - and the thousands of women and girls like her - if there was more awareness of menstrual health conditions, greater empathy for our pain, and better treatments available.

Donate now to end unnecessary suffering from "just a period"

We need your help to educate and empower more women and girls to be in control of their menstrual health, from their first period to their last.

  • £10 could help us reach 836 women with our information about heavy periods, letting them know that treatment is available
  • £25 could help fund travel for a patient advocate to attend an event and contribute to women's healthcare policy
  • £50 could help us fund the digital platform for up to 250 people to attend a webinar on menstrual health

Please give generously. Thank you.
